Everyone’s favorite Monkee has passed away from a heart attack in Indiantown, Florida. He was 66 and way too young. The Monkey’s only played for two years, but lived on in our collective after school memory and in reruns for years. We ALL grew up with Davy and the gang.
Hey, hey, we’re the Monkees,
and people say we monkey around.
But we’re too busy singing
to put anybody down.
Thanks for the memories Davy, you will be missed.
Jones is survived by his wife Jessica and 4 daughters from previous marriages.
